Delinquent Real Estate Tax Notices Sent

The Franklin County Treasurer will be mailing a courtesy notice to real estate property owners who are currently delinquent for the 2011 taxes payable in 2012. The due date of this tax notice is October 19, 2012 in order to avoid publication of the parcel owner's name in the Columbus Dispatch. Failure to pay by November 30, 2012 will result in additional charges. 2012 Tax-Lien Certificate Sale

The 2012 tax-lien certificate sale will be held on November 5th, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. in the Franklin County Courthouse. Please visit the Tax Lien Sale link under the Delinquent Taxes section of this website to view a list of parcels eligible for this year's tax lien sale. To avoid the sale, taxes must be paid before 5:00 p.m. Friday, November 2, 2012. NO personal or business checks will be accepted. Payments must be in "Guaranteed Funds" (e.g., cash, money order, certified or cashier's check). Please be advised online payments through the Treasurer's website will not be permitted for parcels pending the tax-lien certificate sale. For payment options please click here.
