  • Senior Options

    This program provides access to community services that enable Franklin County residents age 60 and older, to live as independently as possible. These services include minor home repair, home-delivered meals and medical transportation. For more information, call (614) 525-6200.

  • Legal Aid Society of Columbus

    This agency provides help for Senior Citizens in a variety of legal matters including bankruptcy, estates and consumer problems. For more information, call (614) 224-8374.

  • Board of Revision

    To file a complaint because you think you can show that the valuation of your property is too high and should be lowered, call (614) 525-3913.

  • Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP)

    Provides help in paying heating bills during November through March for income-eligible adults and families. For more information, call 1-800-282-0880.

  • Tax Counseling for the Elderly

    This program provides free tax preparation services to middle-income and low-income taxpayers age 60 and over. For more information, call 1-888-227-7669.

  • Homeowners Assistance

    This is a home maintenance and repair service for elderly or disabled homeowners who live in certain parts of Columbus. For more information, call (614) 645-8526.

  • AARP
