Homeowners in Franklin County can now print their tax bill at home

(Columbus, OH) Franklin County Ed Leonard announces that property owners can view and print their bill online by going to our Property Search site at http://treapropsearch.franklincountyohio.gov/. 1st half property taxes are due January 21, 2014 and the paper bills will be in the mail on or before December 26, 2013, however, you can save time and ensure your payment will be received by the end of the year by going on line today.

Former Parker Marathon Station in Canal Winchester to take next step

Canal Winchester, (OH) – On Monday, August 12, 2013, Franklin County Treasurer Ed Leonard, Canal Winchester Mayor Michael Ebert, members of the Central Ohio Community Improvement Corporation (COCIC), and other officials will be at the former Parker Marathon station to witness the next step in the long process of creating a productive land. The backhoes will be on site to begin the removing the gasoline tanks that remain underground at the vacant property.

Treasurer Leonard to speak at Dream Team Bootcamp

Columbus, (OH) Franklin County Treasurer Ed Leonard is set to speak at the Dream Team Bootcamp, at Family Missionary Baptist Church on July 24th. The theme for this year’s youth boot camp is, “What Motivates You?”
This year, 55 youth, ranging from age 5-18 will be present to receive certificates and hear from Treasurer Leonard and other local leaders about motivation. The camp stresses five core subjects: reading, writing, science, math, and discipline.

Franklin County Treasurer and Prosecutor to Expedite Foreclosures for More Than 400 Vacant and Blighted Properties

Columbus, (OH) - Franklin County Treasurer Edward Leonard and Prosecutor Ron O’Brien announce the filing of the first expedited foreclosure actions in Franklin County’s Court of Common Pleas. Over the next several weeks, it’s anticipated that more than 400 of these expedited tax foreclosure cases will be filed.

Franklin County Residents No Longer Need to Wait for Property Tax Bills

(Columbus, OH)The Franklin County Treasurer’s office mailed out second half property tax bills on May 23, 2013. The deadline to pay is June 20, 2013. For the first time, homeowners will be able to view and print their bill from home using their home computers – starting today! Tax bill information will be available on our website parcel search application located at http://treapropsearch.franklincountyohio.gov/ to view and print.
Previously, our website only offered one view of the property information. Now, there are six different views including property details, account balance, valuation, payments, distribution and special assessment.
