payment of property taxes
Payments on Franklin County Real Estate taxes will only be collected, and applied for Real Estate charges assessed on individual tax years billing cycles. If you wish to prepay taxes for future tax collection cycles, you must establish an escrow account with our office pursuant to ORC Section 321.45 (B & C) http://codes.ohio.gov/orc/321.45v1). Prepayments accepted under an escrow agreement do not constitute the payment of taxes until they are applied towards assessed charges.
Any questions regarding Federal Tax credits can be directed to the Internal Revenue Service (https://www.irs.gov/ ).
